Arden Goes in the NICU

Only a few hours after Arden's birth her bilirubin levels skyrocketed to dangerously high levels for jaundice for a newborn so she is admitted into the NICU. She is put on a feeding tube, all sorts of monitors, and has to be under constant phototherapy lights. She was very close to being at risk for a blood transfusion. We couldn't even pick her up or hold her, which was the most heartbreaking.
