And the Countdown Begins...

After getting through Aubrey's wedding and everyone asking me if I was going to have the baby at the wedding, I was able to settle in back at home and look forward to the impending birth of our second daughter! I haven't been as good posting pictures on here throughout this pregnancy, so here are all of them at once! You can see the belly grow!

Aubrey & Mike's Wedding Weekend

This year is the year of the wedding with my girlfriends. Three of my high school girlfriends have gotten engaged and are subsequently getting married in 2009. The first wedding was Aubrey & Mike's on July 11th up in Maryland near Frederick. I've known Aubrey since junior high and I've known Mike since elementary school so it's going to be a fun friend filled weekend. After many alterations to a bridesmaid's dress to accommodate being 36 weeks pregnant at the ceremony- it fits! That's all I cared about so I could support my girl on her day! Aubrey had a nice bridesmaid get together at the Wine Harvest after the rehearsal, the the rehearsal dinner at Kentlands mansion. The wedding day went smoothly without any drama, the weather cooperated and everyone had a blast! I chose to try to stay behind a camera most of the day to provide Aubs with some good shots of behind the scenes before she was able to get the photographer's pictures.

Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Ciatto!

The Lothrop/Hetherington/Drenzek Beach Week!

My Uncle Pete organized a family reunion of sorts at Holden Beach for an entire week in June. Pete has three kids, but only 2 of my cousins- Matt & Erin could make it. I have not seen Erin in more then 10 years and I think I'd only met Matt once or twice in my entire life. Both have families and kids of their own now, so it was fun to reconnect. And we got to spend some good beach time! Arden's finally at an age where she could entertain herself with the sand, which was nice! My brother and I, and respective spouses and siblings stayed at my parent's place, while the rest of the Lothrop clan rented a house on Holden Beach. It was also the first time that Arden got to hang out with her cousin Kelsey for an extended period of time. Arden seemed smitten with Baby Kelsey- which is good considering she's going to get one of her own in a few months! Good times were had by all it seemed, which is impressive considering there were so many people to try to please!
